POSITION TITLE:  Mathematics Teacher

LOCATION:  Glen Rose Junior High School

SALARY RANGE:  Based on Glen Rose ISD Pay Scale

LENGTH OF WORK YEAR:  10 months

POSITION SUMMARY:  Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certification:

Mathematics Major (preferred)

Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level   

  assigned (Mathematics)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of subject assigned (Upper Level Mathematics) 

General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
